We have three supermarkets in Parry Sound, and Sobey’s is open 24 hours in the summer months. We recommend you shop for food when you arrive. There is also a great convenience and liquor store in Humphrey just across Hwy 141 on South Sandy Plains Road which is 5 minutes by car.
In Parry Sound, which is only a fifteen minute drive away, there are many restaurants to choose from. We like The Bay St. Cafe overlooking the Parry Sound dock, Wellingtons, The Log Cabin, Boston Pizza and Trappers. We are on a bell hub which is the same as your mobile phone and as a result it is very expensive to download any movies or large files. You are allowed a total of 5 GB per week. Anything over 5GB per week you will be charged $10 per GB and the amount will be deducted from your security deposit. We get a day by day record of the usage so you will be charged if you go over your limit. Please speak to your family and friends and please explain to them to only use the internet for emails and not download information or movies……
